Rensselaer Elks Lodge #2073 Indoctrination
Initiation Overview
- Please dress appropriately in business attire.
- No alcoholic beverages are permitted during the ceremony
- Nothing is designed to embarrass you in the service. The goal is to simply educate you about our great Order.
- The ceremony should last about 45 minutes in duration, and you will be standing for most of that time. It is advisable that you wear comfortable shoes.
- Kindly leave purses at the side table in the Lodge room so you are able to perform the ceremony.
- If you have a physical ailment or need assistance, we are happy to make accommodations. Please let us know in advance.
- You may not leave the Lodge room during the ceremony. Doing so will disqualify your membership. Please use the restroom beforehand.
- Remember to sign your membership card when you receive it.
- Food is typically served after the ceremony, and we would invite you to have a drink on us and enjoy the fellowship.
- Make sure to sign the Quarter Pool booklet.
